As we emerge into an increasingly complex world, the need for positive change through innovation and fresh ideas is more important than ever. Yayasan BUMN developed the Pikiran Terbaik Negeri program to support and accelerate the growth of social enterprises in Indonesia. The idea was sparked after observing the number of social enterprises in Indonesia with great potential for impact.

The Pikiran Terbaik Negeri program is a grant competition initiative by Yayasan BUMN, in partnership with Angin Dampak Jaya, to identify and develop social entrepreneurs in Indonesia. The 2025 program focused on solutions in the health, environment, digital inclusion, and community empowerment sectors, distributing impact grants worth over Rp3 billion to selected social entrepreneurs to accelerate their positive impact.

Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 Kick-Off

The Pikiran Terbaik Negeri program was launched on June 3, 2025, alongside the opening of Rumah Dampak Ditiro, the headquarters of Yayasan BUMN. More than a program launch, the event also featured an interactive discussion about the impact ecosystem in Indonesia. The talk featured Yudhi Pradhana, Executive Director of B Market Builder SEA, Muhammad Hafid Rosidin, the CEO of BIKI, and Nani Zulminarni, the Southeast Asia Regional Director of Ashoka.

The event also marks the start of the registration period of Pikiran Terbaik Negeri, which later gathered more than 1.700 applicants from all across Indonesia. The selected participants underwent a series of selection processes, including a basic due diligence and interview session.

Progressing Through Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025

The Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 program was divided into 2 categories: the Social Enterprise and Ideation categories. The Social Enterprise category is open to all social enterprises in Indonesia that have been established and running for more than a year, while the Ideation category is available for participants with early-stage ideas in need of funding to kickstart their innovations.

Later in the program, a third category, ElevAIte, was opened for ideations on the development of AI-based innovations. The category, in collaboration with Binar Academy, is an effort to accelerate the growth and development of startups and solutions utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology.

After a long selection process, the Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 found its 20 selected Social Enterprises, 3 Ideations, and 3 AI-based Ideations. After being selected, all participants followed through with a series of capacity-building sessions to improve their strategic thinking and decision-making.

In addition, they also prepared themselves for one of the main events in the program, the Grand Final Pitching, where they have the opportunity to pitch their businesses and connect with high-level figures to receive additional funding for their causes.

Grand Final Pitching of PTN 2025

Grand Final Pitching PTN 2025 was the main event of the whole Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 program. Held in the ballroom of Atma Jaya University, Jakarta, the event gathered all 20 Social Entrepreneurs, 3 Ideations, and 3 ElevAIte participants to present their innovations and connect with key players, decision-makers, and partners in the impact ecosystem.

Bootcamp of PTN 2025

Before the main event, the participants and representatives of the selected Social Enterprises, Ideation, and PTN x ElevAIte attended a 1-day bootcamp facilitated by the Angin Dampak Jaya team. The bootcamp included a one-day session of impact measurement training, a presentation and pitching workshop, and a mock pitching session, with feedback from the workshop trainers. The sessions were specifically designed to prepare participants for the Grand Final Pitching session on August 24, 2026.

Grand Final Pitching Night PTN 2025

Following the bootcamp, Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 held a grand pitching day. The Grand Final Pitching Day PTN 2025 is a day of exhibition, gathering, and an onstage pitching session that becomes the highlight of the whole program. During the event, twenty social enterprises, three ideations, and three ElevAIte ideations presented their solutions for particular issues happening in Indonesia, such as health & inclusivity, energy transition, food security, green and blue economy, and waste management. Attending the event as judges were Tasya Kamila (Influencer & Founder of Green Movement Indonesia), Gita Syahrani (Head of Executive Board, Koalisi Ekonomi Membumi), Saskia Tjokro (Director of Angin Dampak Jaya (ANGIN Foundation)), Dr. Ray (Founder of Health Collaborative Center (HCC)), and Sudono Salim (Chief of Growth, Jejakin).

To determine the winners of the pitching competition, judges see beyond their performance onstage. Their ideas, business model, impact, and even exhibition were part of the scoring rubric to determine the best of the best. In the end, three social enterprises came out on top as winners of the Grand Final Pitching, receiving additional funding for their cause.

The first, second, and third winners of the Grand Final Pitching PTN 2025, respectively, were HerLens, Agridea, and Gawirea. In addition, DoctorTool became the audience favorite social enterprise of the night, while Ravelware Technology was awarded the social media favorite social enterprise. Consequently, The five social enterprises won additional grants, on top of the 150 million Rupiah awarded to participants, to fund their cause.

But the event was more than a pitching session. In addition to the main stage where participants shared their ideas, drives, and goals, an exhibition area was available for visitors to observe and discuss these innovations more deeply. Correspondingly, the exhibition area showcased innovations, company information, and even products of these enterprises.

PTN 2025 Project Implementation & Monitoring

Following the Grand Final Pitching, it was time for participants to implement their ideas, solutions, and innovations. At their respective implementation locations, the 20 chosen Social Enterprises applied their solutions and ideas, drawing on additional knowledge gained from the PTN Bootcamp, to create change and positive impact.

From the North of Aceh to the South of Papua, the impact is seen and felt. The selected social enterprises of the Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 program ensured that their solutions not only bring economic benefits to their businesses, but also to their beneficiaries.

Dampak Terbaik Negeri 2025

The Dampak Terbaik Negeri 2025 is the final showcase event of the whole Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 program. Here, the stories of the 5.000 beneficiaries and 20 enterprises are displayed, tailored into one cohesive notion to push the impact entrepreneurship ecosystem forward.

In addition to the exhibition, an onstage session was also held, consisting of a panel discussion,

Anisa Azizah, INTRA Lead and Senior Advisory of Angin Dampak Jaya, moderated the panel discussion session, titled “Scaling Impact: Dari Ide ke Gerakan, Dari Gerakan ke Keberlanjutan”. The panel featured four experts in the impact ecosystem and social entrepreneurship, namely:

As four players in the same ecosystem, pushing towards the same goal, each speaker shared their own unique perspectives when it comes to pushing forward solutions into action, and action into impact results.

In addition to the discussion, the event also featured an active collaboration session between Pikiran Terbaik Negeri 2025 cohorts and guests of the event. The session engaged all in attendance in an interactive session called “Kolaborasi Berdampak”. Here, participants were required to talk shop and brainstorm a collaborative program with cohorts of PTN 2025, highlighting or amplifying existing impact. The session successfully triggered a partnership network between fellow attendees, building longer-lasting relationships and giving birth to potential future collaborations.
